In recent years complexity science, and the study of complex systems has revolutionized a number of sciences contributing to how our understanding of how a mind emerges from the components of the brain, to how chemicals like water get unforeseen properties like "wetness." This project is composed of a set of experiments looking at crime of as the product of a complex system. We exam how diverse acturs use creativity to deal with stressors known to lead to crime, and how they adaptations change the social landscape. Students may have the opportunity to get involved with different elements of these experiments including developing and administering measurements, being trained on advanced statics, and developing and understanding of how complexing works.
