Description

I'm interested in working with students who are interested in studying the history of slavery at UA. Piecing together this story will involve reading archival records, and learning more about the early workings of the university. Another project I am interested in involve using the archives of an 1853 antebellum home in Demopolis, Alabama to piece together the forgotten story of the Lyon family and their lives and legacy.
