Students will work on a hands-on project to build a small model of magnetically levitating train. There are many videos on youtube about this, but one example is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpNHC9o8fEU . Number of students needed: Two or three motivated, hands-on students with good communication skills and teamwork skills are needed to execute this project. Nature of work: Work include, look for, decide, acquiring materials; coordinate with engineering machine shop; assembly; demonstrate, etc. Time and commitment: 10 - 20 hours / week. At least 1-year commitment or commitment to complete the build is preferred. Preferred way of contact : email.
