Anneliese BollandDescription
In this research opportunity, students will work with the Data Archivist for the Mobile Youth and Poverty Study and/or other identified faculty, based on the students' interests to create research publications, both manuscripts and conference proposals that explore risk and protective factors for primarily adolescents who grow up in impoverished communities. This opportunity lends itself more toward quantitative methods, but qualitative opportunities may be explored. In this research opportunity, students will work with secondary data sources. Typical work may include conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and manuscript and/or conference proposal preparation. Students' research interests will be taken into consideration, and there may be an opportunity for students to work collaboratively with other students.
