Study Abroad Course Equivalency Database

The Study Abroad Course Equivalency Database contains information for courses that have been reviewed by the University of Alabama and approved for transfer with the equivalency specified. This database should be used for information only. Once a student has been accepted to a study abroad program, course selections must be submitted for approval. Questions about specific study abroad programs or the application process for study abroad programs should be directed to studyabroad@ua.edu.

UA courses numbered 197 and 397 are elective credit and are awarded for courses that do not have a direct UA course equivalency. Questions about course equivalency, credit hour conversions, or grading may be directed to transfercredit@ua.edu. Any questions regarding how courses will be applied in the degree program should be directed to the student’s academic advisor.
