Ferguson Center Supply Store Lobby - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During the event, students will receive 10% off bachelor regalia, master regalia, and diploma frames. Student can select rings and invitations with Balfour. A photographer will be present.
June 07       Degree Application Deadline

Last day to submit a degree application. Application must be submitted online through myBama. Only after petition and approval by the student's college will an application be accepted after the published deadline. If approved, the student will be assessed a $25 non-refundable late fee in addition to the graduation fee.
June 10       Summer Payments Due and Second Cancellation

Payment in full or participation in a payment plan is required before noon on June 10, 2019 for all Summer bills. Schedules will be cancelled for students who haven't paid in full or participated in a payment plan before noon on this date.
June 15       Doctoral, Law, & Faculty Regalia Purchase Deadline

Priority deadline to purchase custom doctoral, faculty, and law regalia. Purchase at the SUPe Store Supplies counter in the Ferguson Center or online through the SUPe Store's website

June 29       Doctoral, Law, & Faculty Regalia Rental Deadline

July 04       Classes Dismissed - Independence Day (UA offices closed)

July 09       Last Day to Drop a Course with a Grade of "W" for Summer Full Term

This is a student's last opportunity to drop a course. Drops after this date must be approved and processed by the student's college.
July 31       Classes End

July 31       Last Day to Withdraw from the Summer Full/Summer 2 Terms

This is the last day students have to withdraw from the term (all classes) without requiring approval from the student's college Dean's office. Withdrawals from Nursing and Law always require approval from the respective Dean's office.
August 2019
August 01       Final Exams - Thursday

8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Classes which first meet between 7:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.

2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Classes which first meet between 12:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.

6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.: Classes which first meet between 4:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

August 02       Final Exams - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Classes which first meet between 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

August 03       Summer Commencement

August 06       Final Grade Entry Deadline (11:59 p.m.)

Grades for all summer classes are due tonight at 11:59 p.m. Any missing grades as of the 11:59 p.m. deadline will result in grades of "N" being assigned as placeholders. Instructors will then be required to submit grade change requests to correct all "N" grades. August 21       Undergraduate Transfer Credit Deadline

Deadline for receipt of transfer credit (on an official transcript) for August graduates. If transfer credit is not received by this date, students will be removed from Summer graduation and will be required to reapply for December graduation.
August 23       Degree Completion Deadline

All degrees will be either awarded or denied by the Degree Completion Deadline; no degrees will be awarded after the published deadline. It is the responsibility of the degree candidate to ensure all requirements are met at the end of the term by the published deadline. More information posted under Diplomas & Degrees then

August 23       Diploma Address Deadline

Last day for students to make changes to the diploma address in myBama (Click View Graduation Applications link). Any changes made to the diploma address on the degree application after this date will not be reflected in the diploma order and will lead to delays in the receipt of diplomas.
September 2019
September 13       Diploma Ship Day

Diplomas for all August graduates will be shipped no later than this date. A notification will be sent to the Crimson email account when the diploma has shipped.
